## ENTRY

Before: Drab walls and dated beige carpet on the stairs make this entry feel less grand and more lackluster.

After: From green to grey, the walls now highlight the clean lines of the wainscoting and crown molding, while the beige carpet on the stairs has been removed, replaced with beautifully stained wood which provides a perfect contrast against the lighter walls.

## BATHROOM

Before: Though once fashionable, the flowery tiles did not translate well into modern tastes. The soft cream color of the walls blended with the white of the countertop and the tile floor, leaving little room for variation in style or texture.

After: With the removal of the flower tiles, and the walls painted a soft, neutral grey, this bathroom now echoes a more sleek and clean-cut style. The dated lighting was also replaced with fixtures a little more current, which give off a good deal more light and offer a more spa-like feel.

## DINING ROOM

Before: Instead of adding warmth, the burnt orange color of the dining room walls only served to darken the room and draw attention away from the detailed features like the wainscoting and crown molding.

After: A splash of grey on the walls and a new, darker stain on the wood allow the crown molding and wainscoting to stand out and frame the room with elegance. A newly installed light fixture completes the trendy look.

## LIVING ROOM

Before: Drab wall colors, combined with the light, honey-colored flooring blended in with the abundance of detailed molding that lined the walls, making the space feel bleached and washed out.

After: With storm-grey walls and stained wood flooring, the detailed crown molding was free to stand out in its stark white frames, while the fireplace had its gold framing colored black.
